new layout!

stone and fen has had its first long awaited makeover.

just so y'know, the flyers in the background are from various local philly punk and hardcore shows. the flyers, philly local scene info, merchandise, and some sample songs can be found at phillyshreds.com and schuylkill records [both of which have a flyer or a sticker integrated on the background also. ;)].

the skyline is of the City of Brotherly Love itself, facing from west to east. the tallest building there is liberty one--liberty two is its somewhat shorter sister to your right--it's nearly covered by the word "april". [this shot is a terribly overexposed sunset, but normally they appear in really pretty reflective shades of light blue.] anyway, that's Center City. stone and fen live on the North end, towards your left, around the area nicely covered by all the posts. it's not much to look at anyway. =p i wish to give a photo credit, but alas, i know not from whence this photo came--if said person ever stumbles across it, i'll be glad to credit it.

as far as the comment links go, "Sé Anseogh Tá?" [say-ann-say-oh-tah?] is basically a summons/shout out/asking if anyone's there, depending on the tone. "Anseogh!" [ann-say-oh!--here/present!] is usually the response, but hey, you can answer any way you like. ;)

anyway, i think that's all i've got. *flops* back to, y'know, the actual writing.

stone and fen phase 1

the index! is complete. up to date, and reorganized.

the profile! is new and shiny.

the story!
what i've done:
•i've removed references of all characters that are not native to my space and this story. essentially, anyone that isn't mine, is no longer here.
•i've done some slight plot and line tweaking to allow for this, but not much, just some really glaring stuff.
•i also copied and moved all the posts to ~stone_and_fen and changed the index links accordingly.
•added all new folks.

what i've not done:
• any out and out rewrites of old and rough stuff. part of my joy in stone and fen is watching how much my writing changed, characters developed and world and language building happened from that first word challenge snip til now. i have no pressing urge to come up with a totally together and polished version at the moment.
•no real proofreading was done, because it's a massive job and it took me 2 days just to get this much accomplished.
•i did not throw away any of the original posts or comments. i will be locking them away, tho. they'll always be available to the people involved, if any of you need them for any reason. and as far as the comments go--i prize those comments beyond all reason. you guys rock. if it were possible to move them along with the fics, i would have. [altho some of them are a bit not-pertinant now, what with the character swap outs.]

what needs to be done:
•there's a space or two where a fic is required. davy first meeting fen, and aedra's first showing up, for example. his reaction to stone and fen's relationship at the end of the poker party fic. an explaination as to where hallie wandered off to might be nice, also.
•aedra and oleander need an icon in a style matching the rest of the gang's.

what i'd like to do:
•go back and make the foreign language use and terms consistant all the way thru.
•create a glossary.
•~~maybe create a custom layout.~~
•a cast page?
•get back to work on that heroes arc already!!!!

...i still keep going back there and blinking at the hugeness of "my little writing exercise". 3 years in sept?? where the hell did the time go?
